Hooty Owl Earflap Hat

My new knitted hat is off the needles now and I'm so happy to share it. So please welcome my new design - Hooty Owl Earflap Hat

The hat is knitted in the round with DK/8-ply weight cotton yarn in beautiful ecru color. The hat is decorated with contrast knitted edge in light brown color and knitted owl eyes with black polka dot buttons in their centers.

The hat is made with earflaps with braided strings which help to keep little ears away from wind these spring days.

The knitting pattern for my  Hooty Owl Earflap Hat is available from one of my pattern stores:

Owl Traveller Backpack

I'm happy to share my new crochet project - Owl Traveller Backpack. It is my second owl backpack I created for my little daughter this spring.

I used the same color palette as for my Owl Adventure Backpack but this time I made a round shape for the backpack bottom and for the top lid. I decorated all parts of the owl - backpack body, top lid, wings and shoulder straps with scallop endings.

The front pocket is decorated with flower sequins and tiny buttons. The top lid is fastened with Velcro tape.

The photo-tutorial for my Owl Traveller Backpack can be purchased and downloaded from one of my pattern stores:

Brilliant Heart Tunic

Today I'd like to share my new knitted design - Brilliant Heart Tunic.

I made this tunic for my daughter using the same yarn as for my Droplet Flower Hat .
Brilliant Heart Tunic is knitted with short raglan sleeves and wide scoop neck. It is decorated with large heart in moss stitch pattern at the front. The heart is also decorated with red glass beads.

This tunic is an ideal piece of wardrobe for these early spring days.

All part of tunic are knitted bottom up on straight needles, then parts are seamed together and then the loop of stitches is picked up for neck.

Droplet Flower Hat

Please welcome my new knitted project - Droplet Flower Hat. I made this hat for my little daughter for this spring. She grows so quickly so she really needs a new hat every season.

The hat is knitted in the round with Diamond Drops pattern from wrong side. I love the texture of this pattern. It looks really pretty and unusual.

The hat is decorated with knitted flower and I-cord around it. The flower is also decorated with the matching button. Actually , I didn't have the matching button in my button collection so I used a drop of matching nail polish to paint one. :)

This stylish cloche is knitted with Phildar Laine cotton yarn in beautiful fuchsia color. It is a lovely yarn which contains 50% of cotton and 50% of wool. This yarn is soft and really easy to work with. I used about one and half skeins for size 18-24 months.

I also wrote the knitting pattern for this hat which can be purchased and downloaded from one of my pattern stores:
