"I Love Mom and Dad" Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern

I created this blanket for my newborn baby.

 


The blanket is knitted in three patterns - Duck, Sun and "I Love Mom and Dad" phrase. I made this blanket for the summer/autumn time so I used a bright yellow Rowan Siena 4-ply 100% mercerized cotton. The blanket is very cosy and comfy and I'm very happy with a result. So I decided creating a pattern for it.

Monica is my new miniature needle felted elephant.



Monica is needle felted with cream merino wool. Her eyes are onyx beads and her face and body slightly shaded with soft pastels. Monica carries her bright rainbow flower. Her size is about 2.5 inches (60 mm).
