Knitting a Halloween Sweater | Cat Chart & Design Changes – Part 2

1.10.26

🎃 Welcome to Part 2 of my Designing & Knitting a Halloween Sweater series! 🧶

Watch Part 1 here.

In this video, I’m continuing the knitting process and showing you the progress I’ve made on the back of my Halloween sweater.

I’ll talk about some of the problems I came across while knitting and the modifications I had to make along the way. I’ll also show you how I adjusted the cat chart as the knitting progressed and explain why some changes were necessary to make the design work better in knitted stitches.

I’m also sharing the cat chart with you, so you can download it and use it to knit your own Halloween cat motif:

This is very much a real design process, so not everything goes exactly according to plan! I hope you enjoy seeing how the sweater develops and how I solve the challenges that come up along the way.

You can see the second part here: https://youtu.be/DosLvW0cXy4

More videos are coming as I continue working on the sweater, so stay tuned for the next part! 🎃🧶

E-motion slippers - beginner knitting patter and free video tutorial

1.10.26

I’m happy to introduce E-motion Slippers, my new cosy design for autumn. They are warm, comfortable and so quick to knit, making them a perfect little project for the cooler months. The slippers use only a small amount of DK/8-ply yarn and knit up in the blink of an eye.

E-motion Slippers are knitted completely seamlessly, using a toe-to-heel construction. The design combines a few interesting techniques while keeping the finished slippers comfortable and practical. The front section features Grid Stitch, while the heel is shaped using short rows. Comfortable ribbing around the ankle helps create a snug fit.

The pattern is available in sizes for both children and adults, so you can make a pair for yourself or knit matching slippers for the whole family.

Knitting pattern for E-motion slippers is available from Ravelry and Etsy.

Ravelry Promo codes: 310 - to get 10% off for 3x patterns; 515 - to get 15% off for 5x patterns

And for anyone who enjoys learning as they knit, I’ve also prepared a detailed step-by-step video tutorial. I take you through the process from start to finish and explain all the techniques along the way
