Coliseum Hat

Happy Knitting Everyone! The test knit for Coliseum Hat has been finished and the pattern for it is available from Ravelry and LoveKnitting now.

Knitted in sport weight yarn, this unisex hat is must have for any wardrobe. The hat is knitted in the round on circular needles seamlessly in combination of two types of ribbing and fancy slip stitch.
The hat is fast and easy to knit.

It is lovely project for those who love trying new stitches. The pattern is easy to follow and has row-by-row instructions and photo tutorial for fancy slip stitch.

Cross-Bow Vest

Today I would like to share my latest knitted design - Cross-Bow Vest. I have been thinking about this beautiful bow stitch for a couple of months. I wanted to knit something simple and stylish at the same time. I also wanted to keep the bow pattern through the whole garment. So I came up with an idea of t-shape vest with boat neck shape.

This vest is very easy to knit. Both parts front and back are knitted similar but it takes some time to make up each bow and fix their centers with couple of stitches. It requires a bit of time and patience but the result is worth it.

Also this vest is perfect garment for all seasons. It can be knitted with wool yarn and combined with long-sleeve top for cold autumn/winter days. Also it can be knitted with summer cotton yarn and be a perfect spring/summer top for any outfit.

The sleeves edge is decorated with I-cord which match the pattern and looks really beautiful on this vest. I used sport/5-ply weight merino wool for my vest.

I wrote a knitting pattern for my Cross-Bow Vest. It is very detailed and contains row-by-row instructions for all sizes and very detailed assembly process in pictures.

Sunny Autumn Hat

Summer has almost gone and it is time to get ready for autumn cool weather. So, today I would like to share my latest knitted design - Sunny Autumn Hat. This beautiful beanie is knitted in the round with extra fine merino yarn from DROPS and 3.25 mm knitting needle. I used pretty pattern which consists of crossed stitches and decorated it with a large knitted bow.

I really love this pastel yellow color. I think it is a great choice for autumn beginning while weather is still mild and sunny.

Tiny Cables Hat and Scarf

Is it time to start knitting autumn projects yet? Anyway, I've just finished my new knitted design - Tiny Cables Hat and Scarf set.

This stylish knitted set consists of hat with tiny cables pattern and the matching buttoned short scarf. I used Lana Grossa merino superfein yarn in beautiful red color for this cozy set. This is a really great yarn for autumn and winter projects.

I decorated the scarf with three polka dot wooden buttons.

Cherry Flower Hat

Spring is coming soon with lots of flowers and beautiful colours. So, it is time to get ready for it and prepare your wardrobe too. I would like to share my new design - Cherry Flower Hat. I made this hat for my little daughter and it perfectly matches her multicolour coat.

The hat is knitted in the round with honey comb pattern and decorated with large knitted flower and yellow button.

I used Lana Grossa Bingo merino wool for this hat. This aran weight wool yarn is so soft and beautiful. I think it is perfect yarn for these sunny but still windy days.

I am happy with the result. I love pastel pink colour and this large flower. Also, the textured pattern looks great in composition with the flower in stockinette stitch. Hopefully spring will not delay…

Winterberry Earflap Hat

I really love knitting cables and patterns with crossed stitches. I also love knitting hats with earflaps. They always look so stylish and cozy as well as keep you warm during cold and windy days. Especially I love knitting this type of hats for my little daughter. So, today I would like to show my latest design – Winterberry Earflap Hat. 

The hat is knitted with honey comp pattern for the central part of the hat and beautiful cables for the earflaps. It also has textured forehead band.

I used Lana Grossa Bingo merino wool yarn in pretty pink colour to knit my Winterberry Earflap Hat. This aran weight yarn is really soft and beautiful and it looks so great in the finished item. There is only one small negative point about this yarn - it splits quite often when working on patterns with crossed stitches.

Frosty Morning Set

Last couple of weeks I have been working on couple of winter designs for myself and my daughter. Today I'm ready to show one of them. It is Frosty Morning Set that I designed for my little one to keep her warm and cozy during winter time. This 3-in-1 stylish set is winter must have. It has all accessories you need - beautiful hat, cozy cowl and pair of mittens. All items are knitted in the round.
I knitted this set with moss stitch with the matching cable pattern at the front. I really like using the moss stitch in my designs. It is really easy to knit and it also looks beautiful on hats and on other accessories too.

The hat is made with long earflaps for extra warm and comfort. I decorated them with pair of pompoms and big pompom is on the top of the hat. I love how the hat looks on my daughter. The cowl is really comfortable to wear. It is made in shape of sweater neck so it keeps my daughter warm and stays in place.

The last part of the set is pair of mittens. I knitted them simply in moss stitch. So they match the set perfectly. I'm not a big fun of double pointed needles but it was real pleasure to knit a pair of tiny mittens for my sweetie.

The set is knitted with DROPS Merino Extra Fine yarn in white color. I used this yarn to make My First Winter Baby Hat and Scarf Set last year. I like how this yarn looks for cable patterns so decided to use it again. It also warm for winter and really soft for any child garments. The knitting pattern for set is available from my stores.
