Pattern release - Bloksy Shawl

18.2.20
Happy knitting! I've just finished working on my new knitting design - Bloksy Shawl.
For this shawl I used easy to memorise reversible stitch. The triangle shawl is knitted sideways starting from corner to corner with fancy block stitch. The double edge stitches mimic I-cord.
Size of the finished shawl is 185 cm along the wingspan and 68 cm down the centre spine. The shawl is knitted with DK weight yarn.
Knitting pattern for Bloksy Shawl is easy to follow and has very detailed row-by-row instructions. It is available from Ravelry.
The shawl can be worn as a scarf over the jacket (it is my favourite way to wear all my shawls) and makes a perfect set with Bloksy Hat I designed last months.
Recommended yarns:
Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK
Laxtons Blueface Masham Marble DK

Pattern release - Whirl Cable Hat

13.2.20
Whirl Cable Hat was designed in collaboration with Malabrigo Yarn company.
The hat is knitted with beautiful hand dyed yarn Malabrigo Washted is shade Sunset. It is worsted weight single ply yarn, which is very soft and gentle to be worn next to skin. The colour palette for this yarn is very bright and beautiful. But some shades wouldn’t work for cable knitting, as they are too variegated.
Whirl cable hat is comfortable unisex slouch hat, which is knitted with 3D cable stitch in the round. It looks gorgeous on both children and adults. Knitting pattern is written for both children and adults and has both charts and row-by-row instructions for all sizes.

Knitting pattern is available from Ravelry and Lovecrafts

Pattern release - Bloksy Hat

27.1.20
It is so easy to make matching garments and create family looks with my daughters, but it is completely different story when you’ve got a son. So, for some time I’ve been thinking about matching hats with my little gentlemen. And today I’m happy to introduce you my first knitted design in 2020 – Bloksy Hat.
This comfortable unisex hat is knitted in the round with easy to memorise stitch. It has slightly cloche shape and looks great on all members of family.
For this hat I’ve chosen Baby Merino Silk DK yarn from Rowanin shade Dawn. It is beautiful and soft yarn in DK weight. I ignored the ribbing and replaced it with a purl round, which created a stylish and modern look.
The knitting pattern for Bloksy Hat is suitable for knitters of all levels and it is written for all sizes from baby through adult. You can find this pattern on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.

Verve Hat and Cowl set

27.11.19
Happy knitting! I'm so happy to share my latest knitted design - Verve Hat and Cowl set.

The set is knitted with variegated yarn which is a bit tricky to work with. Some stitches do not look good on this type of yarn. Originally, I wanted to knit a set with simple cables. But cables were almost invisible in this shade. So I've decided to stick to very simple and easy to knit stitch to show the beauty of the yarn

Verve hat and cowl set is perfect pair of accessories for cold autumn/winter days. The cowl is designed to be worn around shoulders over the coat or jacket.

Both hat and cowl are knitted in the round on circular needles in combination of reverse stockinette stitch and vertical rows of slipped stitches. The cowl is decorated with I-cord tie which is inserted into top part of cowl.

This warm and comfortable set is knitted wit multi coloured yarn Malabrigo Washted in shade Archangel.

Knitting pattern for Verve Hat and cowl set is knitted for all sizes from baby through adult and available from Etsy, Ravelry and LoveCrafts

Starflake Sweater

6.9.19
Happy Autumn everyone! I’ve got a great news to share with you today. Last couple of months I’ve been busy working on a new sweater design for kids and adults. So please welcome my Child Starflake Sweater and Adult Starflake sweater.

This stylish sweater would make a perfect addition to any wardrobe. Knitted with circular yoke seamlessly, this garment has tunic length which is ideal for an autumn chill weather. The yoke is knitted with beautiful cables in a star shape and decorated with crochet bobbles. Two more pretty stitches decorate the sweater both sides of cables.

Starflake sweater is knitted top down seamlessly with modified longer yoke for a perfect fit and extra comfort. The bottom of garment has a curve edge and fancy slits. Neck, cuffs and bottom band are knitted with 2 x 2 rib.

For this sweater I used perfect budget yarn Mary Maxim Mellowspul DK solids. It has a good colour palette, knits easily and doesn’t change after washing.

As a substitute you can also use Paintbox Yarns Simply DK

So many features and beautiful details make this project is really enjoyable and interesting knit. You can even learn a new technic! The bobbles are crocheted and the pattern has very detailed photo tutorial and the video tutorial is available in my YouTube channel too!
