Pattern release - Bloksy Hat

27.1.20
It is so easy to make matching garments and create family looks with my daughters, but it is completely different story when you’ve got a son. So, for some time I’ve been thinking about matching hats with my little gentlemen. And today I’m happy to introduce you my first knitted design in 2020 – Bloksy Hat.
This comfortable unisex hat is knitted in the round with easy to memorise stitch. It has slightly cloche shape and looks great on all members of family.
For this hat I’ve chosen Baby Merino Silk DK yarn from Rowanin shade Dawn. It is beautiful and soft yarn in DK weight. I ignored the ribbing and replaced it with a purl round, which created a stylish and modern look.
The knitting pattern for Bloksy Hat is suitable for knitters of all levels and it is written for all sizes from baby through adult. You can find this pattern on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.

Magic Leaves Poncho

28.10.16
I love knitting ponchos for my daughters. They last much longer than other knitted garments such as vests, tunics and sweaters. Also, girls look so pretty and stylish wearing them. So, I’ve decided to design another one for this Fall. Please welcome my new design – Magic Leaves Poncho.

This poncho is knitted as one piece starting from the bottom of front and it has no seams at all. Beautiful Leaves motif combined with “lazy” cables at front and beautiful twisted rib stitch along the edge. I decorated the poncho with wooden buttons for even more stylish and unique look.

The fabric knitted with Aran weight wool yarn drapes beautifully along shoulders and keep my little one warm and cozy.

Terra Vest knitting pattern

26.9.16
Today I'd like to share my new knitted design - Terra Vest. I've made this vest in size 9-12 months for my little daughter Veronica.

This vest is really fancy and easy project. It is knitted in the round and completely seamless.
It is knitted bottom up in the round up to underarms and then front and back are finished separately back and forth.

The top edge of the vest is finished with knitted bind off. Because of breast bands this vest will last a bit longer than other garments, you can simply reattach the buttons.

I've written the knitting pattern which was successfully test knitted on Ravelry. Thank you so much to my lovely test knitters!

Flower Spirits Hat

10.10.15
The weather is still warm and sunny here in the UK so I used my chance to take pictures of my new knitted design - Flower Spirits Hat.

It was a bit difficult to take pictures because the yarn is so bright even in the shadow. My little princess was so actively modeling and changing her positions and faces every moment. But anyway we had a great fun during our photo shoot this morning.

This cozy beanie is knitted with beautiful lace pattern and DK/8-ply weight cotton yarn from Rico Design in bright fuchsia color. I really love this color and quality of this yarn. I have already used it to knit my Papillon bolero this summer. The hat is decorated with a large knitted flower.

8.5.15
There are so many dull and rainy days in the UK so my compact umbrella is my must have item in my handbag. I have decided to crochet a fancy umbrella case to brighten up these days. So, please welcome my new crochet project - Ladybird Umbrella Case. I really love this beautiful accessory. It makes me smile every time I find it in my handbag. It also a great toy for my little daughter. She really loves playing with it during our short walks around.

It was quick and fancy project. I used sport/5-ply cotton yarn from Lana Grossa and 3.0 mm hook. I used a black zipper as fastener on the back and put small amount of toy filler inside of each leg.

I also love this funny face. I crocheted the white part of eyes and used a tiny buttons for pupils. I embroidered eyelashes and mouth with a red thread.
