Violet Coast Bolero - project and yarn ideas

20.7.20
If you are looking for perfect summer knit, the Violet Coast Bolero is a dream. You can complete it in no time to get ready for summer vacation or any event. It is perfect for layering and can be easily combined with favourite skirt, pair of jeans or a party dress.
Knitted seamlessly in cotton yarn, Violet Coast Bolero also makes a perfect project for those who avoid all types of seaming. It is knitted bottom up with easy to memorise lacy stitch at front.
The bolero is knitted back and forth but I recommend to use circular needles in order to accommodate the big quantity of stitches.
Violet Coast Bolero is knitted with sport weight yarn. The following yarns can be used for this project:
- Phil 3 cotton yarn from Phildar
- Cotone from Lana Grossa
Schachenmayr Catania
- MillaMia Naturally Soft cotton
- Cascade Ultra Pima Fine
- Rico Essencial Cotton Lurex

All those yarn are available in very rich and beautiful colour pallets.
Knitting pattern for Violet Coast Bolero is available from LoveCrafts, Etsy and Ravelry

Daisy Chain Sweater

12.7.17
I've just finished working on my new knitting design - Daisy Chain Sweater.

I think this top will be a perfect addition for the summer wardrobe of my little one. I've managed to complete it just in time for her summer holidays :)

This sweater has short raglan sleeves and wide boat neck. It is knitted in the round and has no any seams! Stockinette stitch is combined with pretty lace stitch around the waist, sleeves and neck edge.
The sweaters front is decorated with knitted flower and matching button.

The photo shoot was a real fun this time:

I used Mary maxim Fresh yarn to make this top. It looks really great on summer projects.

Snowy Bear Hood

14.8.15
Is it time for a warm cosy knits yet? My first autumn/winter design Snowy Bear Hood is ready now. Snowy Bear Hood is a stylish and comfy accessory for cold weather. It is designed to keep you or your little one away from wind and cold. It is quick and easy project. The brim is knitted sideways and then stitches picked up around for body of the hood. After body is completed the stitches picked up for collar which is knitted in the round. The ears are knitted separately and then attached to the hood.

I used Drops Andes yarn in white colour for my hood and 7 mm knitting needles.

I'd like to say big thank you to all my lovely test knitters from Testing Pool group on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/the-testing-pool/3230283/1-25.
