Acorn Hat

11.10.18
Happy Knitting Everyone. :))
Autumn is always a busy time for the knitters. You need to prepare yourself and your loved ones for the cold season as well as start thinking about all these presents for coming Christmas and etc. I believe the perfect gift for the knitter is a fancy new knitting pattern. So today I’d like to share my very first hat design for boys – Acorn hat.
Acorn hat is a perfect accessory for your little men. The hat is knitted in the round on circular needles bottom up in stockinette stitch. The brim of hat is started with provisional cast on and decorated with horizontal fold going around.
Although the hat is knitted in stockinette stitch you wouldn’t get bored while working on it because the hat includes a couple of fancy techniques such as provisional cast on, making horizontal fold, knitting with two circular needles and etc.

The pattern for the Acorn Hat is available from my pattern stores:

Magic Leaves Poncho

28.10.16
I love knitting ponchos for my daughters. They last much longer than other knitted garments such as vests, tunics and sweaters. Also, girls look so pretty and stylish wearing them. So, I’ve decided to design another one for this Fall. Please welcome my new design – Magic Leaves Poncho.

This poncho is knitted as one piece starting from the bottom of front and it has no seams at all. Beautiful Leaves motif combined with “lazy” cables at front and beautiful twisted rib stitch along the edge. I decorated the poncho with wooden buttons for even more stylish and unique look.

The fabric knitted with Aran weight wool yarn drapes beautifully along shoulders and keep my little one warm and cozy.

The knitting pattern for the Magic Leaves Poncho is available from one of my pattern stores:

Terra Vest knitting pattern

26.9.16
Today I'd like to share my new knitted design - Terra Vest. I've made this vest in size 9-12 months for my little daughter Veronica.

This vest is really fancy and easy project. It is knitted in the round and completely seamless.
It is knitted bottom up in the round up to underarms and then front and back are finished separately back and forth.

The top edge of the vest is finished with knitted bind off. Because of breast bands this vest will last a bit longer than other garments, you can simply reattach the buttons.

I've written the knitting pattern which was successfully test knitted on Ravelry. Thank you so much to my lovely test knitters!

Is it time for a warm cosy knits yet? My first autumn/winter design Snowy Bear Hood is ready now. Snowy Bear Hood is a stylish and comfy accessory for cold weather. It is designed to keep you or your little one away from wind and cold. It is quick and easy project. The brim is knitted sideways and then stitches picked up around for body of the hood. After body is completed the stitches picked up for collar which is knitted in the round. The ears are knitted separately and then attached to the hood.

I used Drops Andes yarn in white colour for my hood and 7 mm knitting needles.
