Diamond Dust Coat

27.10.17
Last couple of months I had been busy working on my new coat design for my older daughter. So today I’m happy to share my Diamond Dust Coat.

The coat is knitted with Aran weight yarn on 5 mm knitting needles. The design of the coat is pretty and simple. It has close fitting on the waist, long sleeves and small collar. The coat is decorated with wooden buttons.

The sleeves and side panels of front and back are knitted with moss stitch. The centre of back is knitted with diamond cable, the front parts are knitted with the matching “zig-zag” cables, and as a finishing touch all cables are decorated with bobbles.

For this coat I used Mary Maxim Woodlands yarn in pretty shade Stardust.

Emily and her first knitted set

17.5.14
Please welcome my new model Emily.

Emily is American Girl Doll that was purchased for me by friend of mine in Dallas, TX. I absolutely love her curly blond hair and blue eyes. She came to me in her basic outfit which consists of grey skirt and pink T-shirt that look boring so that I decided to knit her something more pretty and stylish. I made beautiful hat and the matching coat for her which made up the Peach Flower Doll Set
