My Peach Flower Doll Set knitting pattern is now ready for download.
The set is designed to fit any 18 inches doll like American Girl, Gotz and Design a Friend that have the same body type. The beautiful doll set is made up of stylish beanie and coat. Both garments are knitted with textured pattern and the hat is decorated with beautiful knitted flower with button in the center. This hat is knitted in rounds so it has no seam at the back and the coat is knitted back and forth on needles and decorated with crocheted button band at front. Back, front pieces and sleeves are knitted separately up to underarms and then joined and finished up together. I made this set in beautiful orange color using Sublime cashmere merino silk DK but actual color and type of yarn can be varied.

Emily and her first knitted set

Please welcome my new model Emily.

Emily is American Girl Doll that was purchased for me by friend of mine in Dallas, TX. I absolutely love her curly blond hair and blue eyes. She came to me in her basic outfit which consists of grey skirt and pink T-shirt that look boring so that I decided to knit her something more pretty and stylish. Peach Flower Hat Knitting Pattern_Size Update

Due to high popularity of this hat and many requests from you for sizes bigger than 12 months I have updated my knitting pattern to add 18-24 months and 2-5 years sizes. So, it is now covering all sizes from baby to child.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (0-3 months; 3-6 months; 6-9 months; 9-12 months, 18-24 months; 2-5 years):
- Fits head circumference in cm: 37/39-40/42-44/46/48/49-54, in inches: 14”/16”/17”/18”/19”/20”

Peach Flower Baby Hat Knitting Pattern

Today I would like to introduce my first knitting project in New Year 2014. It is new knitted hat for my baby. 

 

The hat is knitted with Baby Cashmere Merino Silk DK yarn by Sublime in orange color shade 0198. The yarn looks great and feels really soft when knitting. It has 75% of extra fine merino wool and 5% of cashmere wool in composition which makes this yarn warm and suitable for winter time and 20% of silk makes it slightly shiny and very pretty. I think it is a perfect yarn for baby’s clothing.
