Sunny Coast Skirt

Hello fellow knitters. I hope you’ve been enjoying the last summer month and keeping yourself busy with your knitting.

Today I am ready to share my latest summer design – Sunny Coast Skirt.
Knitted with Sport/5-ply weight yarn Sunny Coast Skirt is perfect garment for any season.
It can be knitted with both wool yarn for Fall or cotton one for the summer.

My skirt is knitted with Lana Grossa Cotone which is the perfect summer yarn and easy to knit with.
The skirt is knitted in the round seamlessly. Starting with longer circular needles you need to knit wide skirt part, form pleats and then switch to shorter circular needles to continue knitting the skirt yoke.

The knitting pattern is written for nine sizes from baby (9-12 month) through teen (14-15 years).

Adult Fairyland Poncho

Happy knitting Everyone! I hope you all enjoy the real summer fun with lots of sun and relaxing knitting. Today in spite of a hot summer weather I’m so happy to share my latest knitting design – Adult Fairyland Poncho.

Originally I did not have any plans to design an adult version of my child Fairyland Poncho but after so many requests and interest to it from FB knitters I’ve finally made it.
So as the child version the adult one also has a bottom up construction, modified raglan sleeves and cozy hood. The Poncho is designed to keep you away from autumn wind and cold. The button band at front is decorated with wooden buttons. It can be knitted with chunky or Aran weight yarn. I used Cascade Ecological wool from Cascede Yarns for my garment.

The poncho consists of five parts: back, left front, right front, left sleeve and right sleeve. All parts are knitted bottom up. After all parts are knitted and sewn together the stitches are picked up along the neck edge for the hood. After hood is completed and the top seam is sewn the stitches are picked up for the front (button) band.

Pattern is easy to follow and it consists of very detailed row-by-row instructions for each size, charts and pictures. It is written for two sizes S-M and L-XXL.
The pattern for the poncho has been successfully tested on Ravelry. Please have a look these beautiful projects from my lovely test knit team.

Liane Cardigan

Happy knitting everyone! Today I’d like to share my newest knitted design – Liane Cardigan.

Liane Cardigan is a perfect knitting project for those who avoid seaming. It is knitted top down seamlessly with raglan sleeve shaping and pretty lace stitch at front.

The front bands are knitted together with front parts. The sleeves are knitted in the round. After cardigan is completed the stitches are picked up along the neck line for the neck band.

The cardigan is designed with about 4-5 cm/ 2 inches positive ease.

The cardigan in plum colour is knitted with MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino

 

The pink cardigan is knitted with Lang Merino 130 Compact
