Sweethood Sweater - pattern release

20.9.21

Happy knitting fellow crafters! I am so happy to share a very special knitting design with you today – Sweethood Sweater

This sweater design is the improved copy of the very first sweater, which I designed and knitted for myself when I was around 12 years old. It also was my very first finished project. Would you believe that my very first finished project was a sweater!?

As my knitting skills were very limited at this age, the sweater did not have any cables at Front. There were five moss stitch panels in Front and Back divided by purl columns with slip stitches and the butterfly stitch around shoulders. The sweaters silhouette was pretty much the same with slightly longer length.

Those days I have decided to add beautiful cable motif in front of sweater as a symbol of my love to knitting, my kids who are my greatest inspiration and to my childhood as well.

Great thank you to my husband for the beautiful pattern name, which perfectly reflects the story behind this design.

Sweethood Sweater knitted with DK weight yarn Drops Karisma.

The sweater features boxy shape with plenty of positive ease, dropped shoulders and round neck. Front and Back of sweater are knitted bottom up on straight needles. The sleeves are knitted top down so the length can be easily adjustable, the neck is knitted in the round on circular needles.

The pattern is written for sizes from 3-4 years to 15-16 years and consists of both row-by-row instructions and charts.

It is available from Ravelry and Lovecrafts.

To celebrate the pattern release I would like to offer 10% off on Ravelry with code SS10. Offer valid until 24th of September.

Also you can use my special promo codes on Ravelry for three and five patterns: 310 - to get 10% off for 3x patterns or 515 - to get 15% off for 5x patterns.

Wisla Shawl - pattern release

23.6.21

I'm happy to share my new collaboration with Eden Cottage Yarn - Wisla Shawl.

The triangle shawl is knitted sideways starting from corner to corner. Thanks to combination of two easy stitches - garter stitch and simple lace eyelets in contrast shades - this project is beginner friendly.

The big shawl is knitted with Milburn 4ply in shade Dusk and Silverdale 4ply Mini Skein set in Charcoal Fade.

Mini shawl is knitted in Askham 4ply in shade Blossom and Silverdale 4ply Mini Skein set in Charcoal Fade.

Eden cottage yarn can be purchased from their website.

This project is perfect for using of "those pretty" mini skeins which every knitter keeps in their stash. Also, it is a great project for utilizing of some left over yarns from the previous projects. The stripes can be made in absolutely different or even unrepeatable colours.

Knitting pattern for Wisla shawl contains row-by-row instructions for two sizes and it is suitable for beginner knitters. Pattern is available from Ravelry and Lovecrafts

To celebrate the pattern release I've created discount code NEW15 for Ravelry.
