Sundae Bonnet

12.5.16
Please welcome my latest spring design - Sundae Bonnet. I knitted this super easy hat for cool spring and summer days for my little baby. She is modeling her new bonnet together with her lovely dad :)

I used my favorite DK weight cotton yarn from Rico Design in beautiful Magenta color.

This bonnet is quick and easy to knit and it is completely seamless. The front of the bonnet is knitted back and forth while the crown is knitted in the round. An attached I-cord ending along neck edge is made between two I-cord ties.

The knitting pattern for it is available from one of my pattern stores:

    1. Hello, Thank you for getting in touch. Just doeble checked the pattern and my stitch book. You need to knit the first stitch.
RT – k2tog, leave sts on LH needle, insert RH needle from front between the two sts just knitted together and knit the first st again. Slip both sts to RH needle.
