Outfielder Earflap hat

3.4.19
Warm spring wishes from Vitalina Craft! Today I’d like to share my latest boy’s design – Outfielder Earflap hat.
The sample on the photo is knitted with Lana Grossa Bingo.
This easy to knit hat is designed to keep big and little ears warm and comfy.

The hat is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch starting with central part. The forehead flap is knitted in broken rib. Then the stitches are picked up along the edge for earflaps. After earflaps are completed, the side seams along the earflaps is closed for hat assembly.
Knitted with Aran weight yarn and simple stitches, this hat is quick knit and suitable for advanced beginners.

The knitting pattern for Outfielder Earflap hat is available from Ravelry.
