    1. No, all parts of poncho are knitted bottom up back and forth. The neck is knitted in the round.

  2. Hi! I have bought the lady butterfly hat at Mary Maxim. I Have start to knit the pattern for 18-24 months, after about 20 rows, I realized it's far too large for a toddler, it fits on my head 56cm... I have used the correct needles, but I found that 150 stiches is very large, is it an error? Pleas help me, I am very disapointed...

    1. Dear Marie-Claude,
Thank you for getting in touch.
What is your gauge on knitting needle US size 2½ (3.0mm)? If you gauge is smaller than 28 stitches per 4 inches I would recommend you to knit the smaller size.
Could you please send me the picture of your hat with tape measure placed next to your knitting so I can give you more advice. Please use email shown in the pattern for further communication.
      Kind Regards,
      Tanya

    1. Dear Olina,
The even (2, 4 and etc) rows are knitted in pattern.
So, it means you need to knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.
In other words, on wrong side rows (from left to right) you need to purl any stitch that has a knit symbol and knit any stitch that has a purl symbol.
I hope it makes sense for you.
Please let me know if you need my further assistance.
      Happy knitting!!!
      Kind regards,
      Tanya

    1. Yes, you need to pick up the wraps on the return row and work it together with the wrapped stitch as explained in the photo tutorial.
